In Queensland, the Uniting Church has around 250 congregations and has schools, colleges and large community services (such as UnitingCare Queensland and Wesley Mission Queensland).
Position purpose:
The purpose of this role is to plan and prepare nutritiously balanced meals to meet individual needs, allergies and special dietary requirements of all children attending the centre.
Key responsibilities:
Plan and prepare a suitable menu for children aged that is designed in accordance with Australian Dietary Guidelines and other government agencies.
Support the health and wellbeing of all children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks, that meet the needs of children with special dietary requirements and allergies.
