About the role:
We are currently looking for carers to provide services to various aged care facilities. Successful applicants will be able to start immediately and will be required to undertake duties to include the following:
• Provide exceptional hands-on care with the delivery of services including activities of daily living tasks in association with the residents identified care needs and preferences.
• Assist with hygiene tasks and incontinence management.
• Assist with the resident’s mobility, by assisting with walking, use of
wheelchairs, and other aids and transfers.
• Assists the nursing staff by observing and reporting promptly any changes in the condition or well-being of residents.
• Ensure the resident’s privacy, dignity, and respect are always maintained.
• Perform tasks as directed by senior staff (Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse, Facility Manager, etc).
• Ensuring you remain accountable by always working within your scope of practice.
• Always remain professional ad courteous.

• Current Australian Federal Employment Police Check
• Certificates in Aged care, or equivalent
• Minimum 1 years of experience in the similar role
• Ability to engage with residents
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Current Flu and Covid vaccination (including booster)
• Compassion and genuine empathy for the elderly
• NDIS clearance or willing to obtain
