This opportunity sits within the Digital Audio pillar of Nine, where the focus is driving advertising effectiveness for brands across the suite of Nine audio streaming and podcasting assets. As an integral member of the Digital Ad Operations Team, you will work to define operational workflows to ensure delivery of all digital audio bookings, in addition to contributing to revenue growth for the business.
Initially, you will manage end-to-end digital audio ad campaigns, handling tasks like booking approvals, performance monitoring, budget delivery optimization, and troubleshooting. Your success will hinge on fostering strong relationships with sales teams and ensuring the highest level of client service.
As the business grows, you will then be accountable for hiring, retaining, and motivating your team of Campaign Managers towards delivery and service excellence. Candidates who have succeeded in this type of role typically have exceptional leadership skills with an innate ability to motivate and empower team members. In collaboration with the Operations Leadership Team, you will closely collaborate on the proactive reassessment of campaign workflows and processes. An integral aspect of this leadership role is the skill to receive feedback from multiple stakeholders, effectively communicate change, and champion its implementation.
Day to day you will:
- Day to day campaign management inclusive of booking review, technical campaign implementation within multiple ad servers and order management systems, and optimisations
- Collectively prioritise campaign launches across your list of dedicated sales teams, ensuring a smooth go live process that is in-line with our Service Level Agreements
- Implement optimisation tactics as required throughout the lifetime of the campaign to maximise delivery and revenue
- Make calculated decisions in adjusting inventory and data mixology to achieve campaign objectives and maximise revenue
- Collaborate with Nine’s Digital Sales Teams to resolve technical or delivery issues while ensuring campaign enquiries are reviewed and actioned in a timely manner
- Run weekly ‘In Progress’ meetings with the Sales team, proactively guiding go-live schedules, campaign prioritisation, monitoring of campaign performance and assessment if they are pacing to hit their delivery goals
- Provide end of campaign reporting insights, data analysis and recommendations to promote revenue growth
- Monitor team capacity closely and ensure workload is spread across the team as evenly as possible to ensure successful management across all the sales team
- Proactively identify ways to streamline the campaign workflow
- Encourage team members to embrace challenges and lead them to develop strategic solutions to complement our clients’ expectations
- Maintain and foster a high level of team engagement and morale overall and across multi functions and disciplines
