Asian Kitchen Treendale is a hugely popular Malaysian fusion restaurant servicing Bunbury and surrounding suburbs. We are currently now looking for a Cook to join the energetic kitchen crew.
Employment Duties
Under the direction of the proprietors to work as a Cook including, but not limited to:
1. Planning and changing our menu from time to time.
2. Reporting to management or supervisor a weekly estimate of the costs of ordering ingredients and other supplies.
3. Examining ingredients and food produce to ensure and maintain freshness and quality.
4. Storing and maintaining the freshness of ingredients and food produce appropriately including freezing them.
5. Preparing and cooking food and dishes on our menu.
6. Seasoning and cooking of food and dishes to our restaurant standard.
7. Portioning the serve for each dish.
8. Plating and presenting of dishes.
9. Cooking food to specific diners’ requirements or requests on occasions.
10. Such other duties as may be incidental to the work of a Cook.
Qualification
The successful candidate must have the minimum formal qualification to work as a Cook (by formal qualification or work experience).
