We aim to serve tantalising meals, which are cooked fresh daily in house using only the finest of ingredients. The successful candidate will be working in the kitchen with our team and will oversee overall food preparations. Benefits Contract Type : Full-time, permanent. Salary: ?$70,000 to $80,000 annually Task & Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities: Coordinate food preparation and meal service and cook all the dishes on the menu. Provide training to cooks and kitchen hands and evaluate their performance. Ensure the quality of dishes at all stages of the kitchen processes Contribute ideas to create special menu / seasonal dishes. Checking and managing stocks. Order with suppliers as required for daily food preparation and assist to source most competitive price for fresh & quality ingredients from suppliers (cost control). Ensure food preparation issues are brought forward to management and relevant kitchen and wait staff Assist with selecting and training new staff Oversee the cleaning of work surfaces and other kitchens equipment to ensure that the necessary hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen. Attend employee meeting for improvement. Qualification & Experience Minimum of 2 years work experiences or more in a similar position. Minimum of a Diploma qualification related to cookery, kitchen management or hospitality management (preferred). Passions to cook and serve great food for people.
