About the role
Council is on the lookout for a full-time Governance and Strategy Team Leader to join our governance team. Council is committed to continually increasing our internal capability and this is a great opportunity for someone with experience in governance to join our team.
In this role, youll be in charge of rolling out and reviewing our governance and risk management policies. Youll also help create a positive risk management culture across the organisation, and play a key part in shaping our business planning and implementing internal audit recommendations.
As a vital member of our team, you'll work closely with the Manager of Corporate Governance to help ensure Council meets our complex legislative responsibilities. Your expertise will enhance our understanding of good governance and guide us in maintaining compliance and high standards.
