Join a leading NDIS provider on a 6-month fixed-term contract as an Occupational Therapist. Your new company Hays are working with a leading NDIS provider who are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team on a 6-month parental leave contract with the potential to extend. Your new role The Occupational Therapist will develop plans and achieve outcomes that support clients to maximise their independence and live in the most supportive and appropriate environment.
Complete assessments to identify participants' strengths and focus areas
Provide therapy services, adaptive equipment, recommendations and modifications
Assess and report findings in Functional Capacity Assessments, Sensory Profiling Equipment Applications and NDIS progress and review reports
Ensure comprehensive documentation of assessment, intervention and evaluation within participants' CRM file
Build strong relationships with clients, families, Support Workers and the Allied Health team
Provide training and guidance to Team Leads, Support Workers, clients and families to ensure processes, standards and strategies are communicated and actioned
Attend meetings with the Allied Health team, clients and their families
Track client progress against KPIs and analyse data to inform work practices What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and full AHPRA Registration
NDIS Workers Screening Check, Working with Children Check - or willing to obtain
Experience in the assessment and prescription of aids and equipment
Current Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle What you'll get in return
