The purpose of this Panel Beating Apprenticeship in Toowoomba is to provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge through completing on the job working experience and training with an employer whilst completing a nationally recognised course of training through a registered training organisation. Year 12 school leavers are encouraged to apply!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Panelbeaters specialise in vehicle body repairs, usually after the event of either a major or minor accident. In this role you will learn to perform the necessary repairs to the main panels and sub panels of any vehicle, which may also include making and forming new panels using either machines or hand tools.
