Our client is seeking assistance over their busy harvest season. We have a number of temporary roles starting shortly and ongoing for up to six months. You will be able to work:-
onsite in Horsham daily
Monday to Friday up to 38 hours per week.
Work in Field and labouring work
Be proficient in Data entry
Safely work in outdoor and industrial settings with lifting
Roles are :- Technical Assistant Field Duties:
Picking plants - single plant picking involves picking and filling brown paper bags with samples (peas/lentils)
requires squatting, bending. Lots of walking.
Picking whole rows of plants. Hand weeding (with hoe).
Riding in Harvester machine
Loading samples into ute.
Data entry
Technical Assistant Lab Duties :
grinding samples, cleaning samples
using equipment
use of sifter to shake grain samples
labelling.
