The Opportunity:
Join our mining client as an Accounts Payable / Payroll Officer in a permanent, position in Brisbane CBD. Work 4 days a week (30 hours) with a dynamic finance team in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Process supplier invoices and oversee timely payment runs.
Reconcile vendor statements and swiftly resolve any discrepancies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Manage the accurate fortnightly payroll for 40 employees.
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and taxation requirements.
Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll queries.
Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities.
Support the finance team with various ad-hoc tasks and projects.
Keep financial records accurate and up-to-date.
