About the role In this role you will work with a passionate team on various sport and recreation planning projects and be a key advisor to the Council on sport and recreation matters, making sure our strategies and plans are put into action and that we have suitably planned and designed facilities for our community.
Work type: Permanent Full-Time Classification: Band 7 $100,064 - $110,990 pa plus super
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare reports/submissions for senior management and Council regarding political and strategic issues to meet existing and future community sport & recreation needs.
Monitor, respond and anticipate the changing needs of the community in the provision of sport & recreation opportunities.
Identify and pursue funding opportunities for sport and recreation related research, planning and capital works in line with policy and priorities.
