The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery used in our production processes. Start Machinery and Adjust for Performance-Operate machinery to begin the recycling process, and adjust settings as needed to maximize efficiency for various types of scrap, such as vehicles, engines, radiators, and other equipment. Operate Machinery and Equipment-Follow operational instructions to manage machinery for processing scrap metals, vehicles, and plant equipment in accordance with company guidelines. Troubleshoot and Perform Maintenance-Identify operational issues, troubleshoot machinery problems, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Quality Control and Reporting-Perform quality checks on recycled metals, ensuring all materials meet standards, and document production data and any issues encountered during the process. Compliance with Safety and Health Regulations-Adhere to all safety and health guidelines, ensuring safe operation of machinery and handling of scrap materials. Maintain Cleanliness and Orderliness-Regularly clean and maintain machinery and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient environment in compliance with company standards.
