Lotus College is seeking to employ 2 x Career Counsellors to drive its academic business objectives by assessing individual's skills and interests and guide them in navigating career paths, identify potential career opportunities, and developing job search strategies.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s qualification in the education sector or equivalent field with 2-year experience as a desirable attribute. These full-time roles will be remunerated between $74,000 and $80,000 and are based in Sydney NSW. 482 sponsorship can be considered.
Applicants should demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills, possess strong knowledge of local and national job markets, and presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
• Conduct individual and group career counselling sessions
• Develop and deliver career workshops and presentations
• Assess clients' interests, skills, values, and personality to identify career goals and options
• Provide information on education and training programs, job search strategies, and job market trends
• Refer clients to community resources and support services as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client sessions and progress
• Stay current on career development theories and practices and industry trends
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement programs and initiatives that support clients' career success
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
