Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, subdivisions, and other infrastructure developments.
2. Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs are compliant with relevant standards and specifications.
3. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify detailed civil engineering plans and technical drawings.
4. Interpret technical information from survey reports, drawings, and specifications to produce accurate engineering documentation.
5. Assist with calculations, technical documentation, and project planning as required.
6. Liaise with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented correctly and meet project goals.
7. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with client requirements.
Requirements:
1. Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering, Engineering Design, or equivalent qualification.
2. At least 2 years of experience as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson.
3. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
4. Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques, and relevant Australian standards.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineers and project teams.
6. High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and clear technical drawings.
7. Ability to work within project deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
