$75,000 Plus Super as per Australian Standards
Duties and Responsibilities
• Explaining, Implementing and enforcing hygiene regulations
• Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
• Planning, organising, and participating in the preparation and cooking of food, including involvement in development of menus
• Monitoring the quality of dishes prepared in the kitchen at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Seasoning food during cooking, portioning food
• Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
• Ordering food supplies and estimating food costs
• Training Kitchen staff
• Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
Qualification and Experience
Trade Course and Diploma in Hospitality required plus minimum of 2 Years of Experience
