We’re Hiring a Passionate Chef!
Martini and Co is seeking a creative and dedicated Chef to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who loves to work in a high-energy kitchen and contribute to the culinary success of an iconic restaurant.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
1. Cook and create: Prepare and present a wide variety of dishes with a focus on quality, taste, and presentation.
2. Lead the kitchen: Manage daily kitchen operations, from stock control to staff supervision, ensuring seamless service during peak hours.
3. Maintain standards: Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
4. Collaborate on menu development: Contribute innovative ideas for seasonal and special menu items.
5. Cost management: Monitor food wastage and costs to ensure efficient kitchen performance.
6. Train and guide staff: Supervise kitchen staff and provide ongoing training to maintain a high standard of service.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
2. At least 3 years of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant.
3. Expertise in kitchen management, menu planning, and food safety practices.
4. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a team environment.
6. Passion for creating delicious and visually stunning dishes.
