Company: This business is a local New Zealand owned company famous for their innovative cattle yard packages, loading ramps, swing and sliding gates for cattle or sheep yards plus accessories, strainers, fencing tools and insulators, wire reels and clips. The Role: The Machinist/Programmer is responsible for:
Interpret drawings and apply engineering principles
Select materials and determine machine and settings required
Program, set and run machines to produce components matching specifications
Grind, drill, and test components for fit and quality
Assemble components and prepare for dispatch
Overall responsible for running our 4 Axis Doosan Lynx LY Lathe with Fanuc I Plus
About You:
Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience
Proficiency in the interpretation of engineering drawings/design and understanding of specifications
Previously worked on any CNC Lathes or metal machines
