We are currently seeking for a skilled carpenter to join our team; the details of the job position are listed below:
Position: Carpenter
Salary: $80k plus superannuation/
Location: 7 Pilgrim Court Ringwood 3134 VIC

The role involves the following tasks:
1. Familiarizing yourself and reviewing relevant plans and technical drawings and specifications.
2. Ensuring you understand the specifications such as the materials to be used and that you adhere to the exact dimension requirements as well as any specific installation instructions.
3. Plan and prepare layouts to ensure accuracy of outcome.
4. Ensure the right type of material is used for each job e.g., they correct type of wood or other materials is used so the outcome is fit for purpose.
5. As needed requisitioning or ordering materials
6. Utilizing appropriate tools (ensuring these are safe and in good condition) cutting joints and as otherwise required shape, assemble, affix, nail, glue etc. shaped parts of walls or internals made of wood or other materials as may be the case.
7. Work on various framing activities from roofing to subflooring
8. Work on all parts of the construction from façade to the back porch including cladding, framing, spaces for the electrical area, spaces for plumbing installations etc.
9. Ensure your work is to specification, ensuring verifying the trueness of structures.
10. From time to time provide guidance and supervise the work of sub-contractors and, in consultation with the business owner, rectifying any issues that arise
11. Ensure building regulations are closely adhered to in the execution of all projects.
12. Ensure all the health and safety procedures and regulations are closely followed.
13. Contribute goodwill, energy, and passion to help grow and ensure the success of the business.
14. Participate in helping to train less experienced staff or subcontractors as required.
15. Improving self-knowledge by keenly and enthusiastically participating in any training programmes provided.

To be considered for this role, your key skills, attributes must include:
1. Relevant qualifications (Certificate IV in Carpentry) with at least 2 years professional working experience.
2. Attention to detail.
3. Ability to undergo the above roles and responsibilities competently.
4. Good communication skills.
5. High level of customer service skills.
6. Full working rights within Australia is mandatory.
