Nhill Dine Inn, located at 24 Victoria St, Nhill VIC 3418, is a charming Cafe and Restaurant nestled in the heart of Nhill. Known for its inviting ambiance and delectable cuisine, Nhill Dine Inn offers a delightful dining experience for locals and visitors alike. The cafe boasts a menu filled with a variety of dishes crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, ensuring each bite is a flavorful delight. Whether enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee or savoring a delicious meal, guests can expect warm hospitality and exceptional service at Nhill Dine Inn.
The details for the position are:
Position: Chef
Salary Range: $79,000 - $83,000 plus superannuation
Location: 24 Victoria St, Nhill VIC 3418
Job Type: Permanent position, Full time. Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Make menu items carefully, paying close attention to detail to make sure they're just right.
2. Come up with new recipes and ideas for the menu.
3. Customize dishes to fit what customers like, keeping an eye on their preferences.
4. Follow recipes and cooking instructions closely to keep our special dishes tasting great every time.
5. Get all the ingredients and things we need ready for cooking.
6. Supervise the kitchen staff to make sure everything runs smoothly.
7. Teach the kitchen staff new things when they need it.
8. Create and manage schedules for everyone working in the kitchen.
9. Keep track of orders in the kitchen using the docket system.
10. Keep the kitchen clean and organized, making sure everything is super clean and tidy.
To be considered for this role, your key skills, attributes must include:
1. Required qualifications: Minimum of three years of professional experience with relevant credentials.
2. Qualification level: Certificate IV or higher is mandatory.
3. Capability to thrive in high-pressure settings and effectively lead a team.
4. Must possess full working rights in Australia.
