The Company: Our client are a specialist insurance provider focused on offering tailored insurance solutions for not-for-profit organizations, charities, and community groups.
The Role:
This role will be responsible for the profitability, underwriting, uplfiting technical capability and oversight of the Property & SME package portfolios along with managing a small team of experienced technical specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular reviews of policy wordings and endorsements to ensure compliance, responsiveness to emerging exposures.
Develop and implement efficient and effective underwriting practices and processes, focusing on continuous improvement.
Define and articulate risk appetite by class, sector, and segment.
Set risk acceptance criteria and establish referral rules.
Prepare and deliver training to the underwriting teams along with implementing and maintaining clear and concise underwriting manuals and technical guides.
Design and develop effective rating and pricing tools in conjunction with the actuarial pricing
