The Chef is an integral position in our catering operations. Chefs are responsible to prepare, cook and serve meals to company standards laid down and in accordance with safe food handling guidelines. They are to ensure that all food service areas are kept clean and hygienic and must be thoroughly familiar with all safety equipment and how to deal with an emergency.
About you
To be successful you must:
Be available to work on a flexible roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
Have excellent communication skills
Be committed to ensuring a clean hygienic kitchen
Ability to perform autonomously
Have a sound knowledge in food safety
Attention to detail in preparation & food presentation
These key requirements will be appreciated with experience and skills in the following areas:
Food Safety Handling Certificate - Essential
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery - Essential
Experience in food provision services - Essential
