Position: Mechanical Engineering Technician

Unilift Equipment is a specialist lifting company in the business of steel wire ropes, rigging and lifting equipment. The company supplies equipment to Mining, Oil & Gas, and the construction sectors throughout Australia. We are involved with some of Australia's largest and complex infrastructure projects both onshore and offshore. We offer a 1 stop shop for rigging and lifting gear from the design and testing phase to completion. Due to the continual growth of the company several positions are available in the Inspection and Testing division.
Main Duties Responsibilities:
- Conducts tests of the mechanical systems and analysing its data
- Assembles and installs mechanical assemblies
- Maintain mechanical working or hydraulic and mechanical machines for swaging
- Testing steel materials and fabricated products
- Inspects and maintains machines and plant use in the operation
Selection Criteria
- At least a Diploma in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
- Must have a driving license, forklift ticket, and white card
- Must have a certificate in working at heights
- Must be able to read and encode AutoCad software program
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant industry work experience
