Position: Skilled Carpenter
Location: Gnangara, WA
Responsibilities:
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately assess material requirements and project outlines.
• Select optimal timber and materials, ensuring layouts are prepared for efficient production.
• Execute precise cuts and assemble components, ensuring structural integrity in framework and roofing.
• Oversee the construction of sub-flooring, roof framing, and floorboards, ensuring accuracy and alignment of all structures.
• Install fascia panels, roof sheathing, external cladding, and door/window frames with precision.
• Fabricate and assemble wood structures and fittings for seamless installation.
• Craft detailed wood joints and, where required, engage with alternative materials such as plastics and metals.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in a relevant field.
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation annually
Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)
