The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Finance section manages a range of financial functions including statutory and internal reporting, the end of month accounting process, external and internal budgets, financial analysis, procurement support and financial compliance. Who we are seeking The Finance section is seeking a high performing candidate for the role of Senior Financial Accountant. The role is responsible for the management of NHMRCs Treasury and Operations. Supporting the team to ensure that NHMRCs financial transactions and banking records are accurate and up to date. Promoting efficient and timely payment and receipting processes and contributing to the end of month process and applying appropriate accounting standards, accounting policies and procedures. The Senior Financial Accountant will contribute to NHMRCs annual financial statements by delivering end-of-financial-year (EOFY) tasks as required. The
