As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa , our client has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Reporting Nurse based in Newlands, Cape Town, South Africa . The Medical Reporting Nurse is responsible for electronically reviewing and signing off medical reports to ensure clinical compliance and governance are met. Responsibilities:
Electronic review and sign off of medical reports, including Subject to Access requests, Insurance reports, Department of Work and Pensions, Ministry of Defence, Occupational Health, Blood transfusion, Legal aid, Court reports, Police reports and any other report type.
Ensure thorough Clinical review of clinical conditions, demographics, medications, immunisations, consultations and uploaded documents
Ensure appropriate redaction according to legal consent
Ensure efficient timely sign off in accordance with priority and service level agreement
Address issues raised when reviewing and signing off reports. Escalating issues to Clinical Lead and/or
