A leading electronics manufacturing company in Hertfordshire, commutable from Watford, Luton, Hemel Hempstead and St. Albans is looking for a skilled professional to join their team. In this role, the SMT Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). Key responsibilities for the SMT Operator include: - Preparing and maintaining SMT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. - Conducting quality inspections of assembled PCBs to ensure compliance with industry standards. - Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the assembly process. - Collaborating with the engineering team to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
