Position Title: Painting Trades Worker
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.
Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

Roy Stanton Painting Services is a family owned: local Darwin business that has been established for over 20 years. Our company specialises in high-quality residential, commercial and industrial painting services. As part of our expansion, we are seeking skilled and experienced Painting Trade Worker’s to join our dynamic team long term.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Painting Trades Worker or in a similar role.
• CPC30611 - Certificate III in Painting and Decorating. (preferred but not mandatory).
• International driving permit Category B or previously held an Australian driver’s license (preferred but not mandatory).
• Provide a updated CV showing your qualifications, detailed work history, competencies, work references applicable to the painting industry.
• Proficiency in using various painting tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in the workplace.
• At least vocational English ability (minimum IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent in each component) is required for applicants who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents.
• Physically fit and able to work in a harsh climate, performing manual work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate your understanding and knowledge of the different types of paints, equipment required and techniques used in applying paint systems to various substrates.
• Ability to work at heights safely.
• Ensure the highest quality standards in all painting and finishing work.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual work.
