We are seeking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer in our Rhodes or Leppington office. This is a newly created role due to strong organic growth. You will report directly into the Principal and have the backing of a team of over 430 experts nationally. You will be tasked with leading a project delivery team in a bid to achieve client commitments and build client advocacy and confidence.
Specifically:
- Manage and deliver projects from due diligence through to development application, co-ordination of designs and contract administration
- Negotiation with stakeholders (clients, Authorities, other consultants etc) in relation to project deliverables (approvals, applications, contractual matters) to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Develop relationships with potential clients and improve/maintain existing client relationships
- Assist Principal Engineers with forecasted workloads to meet project deliverables
- Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth
- Manage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgement
- Recruit, manage, train and mentor staff
- Manage financial targets including budgets, profitability etc
