What you’ll do

Play a pivotal role in driving NRMA Roadside’s growth by strategically identifying new business opportunities, expending market presence and nurturing client relationships; across our battery and towing divisions. 

  • Develop and execute innovative battery and towing sales strategies and continuous improvement initiatives to drive customer growth and penetration of emerging markets. 

  • Develop business plans, proposals, and partnership agreements with defined key performance indicators to drive sales growth and customer retention; across CSC networks, B2B Accounts and NRMA Group businesses. 

  • Cross-collaborate across NRMA group businesses to develop and optimise a unified sales journey for battery and towing services. 

  • Support the development, rollout, and scaling of proof of concept initiatives to transition successful projects to business as usual operations. 

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics in battery sales 

  • Foster robust relationships with internal and external business partners to drive budgeting, pricing strategies, and product development. 
     

What You’ll Bring 

  • Proven track record of success in business development, with 5+ years of relevant experience.  

  • Strong knowledge of business development within mobility and related industries and the ability to understand client needs.  

  • Background with managing national customer base with a blend of BDM and account management experience 

  • Proven experience in building and implementing strategic sales plan to target new customer channels 

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment 

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales automation tools 

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets 

  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities 

  • Ethical and professional conduct in all business interactions 

  • Strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving cost savings, process efficiencies, and supplier performance improvement.
