AECOM’s Building’s & Places business line has an exciting opportunity for a Principal (or Senior) level Fire Protection Engineer to join our well-respected Building Services Practice in Sydney.
This role will require you to use your technical capabilities to work alongside multi-disciplinary engineers to assist in the delivery of projects across our National portfolios in Defence, Education, Transportation, High Tech Data and Health sectors.
What will a day in this role look like:
- Collaborate with a team of multi-disciplinary engineers providing high-quality technical design services whilst leading projects autonomously.
- Lead the delivery of major projects including the preparation of fire protection designs, specifications, reports, calculations, drawings and project schedules.
- Conduct site visits, liaise with contractors and consultants whilst reporting back and holding meetings with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates.
- Mentor our junior staff to develop our future engineers and collaborate further with our experienced fire protection engineers both locally and nationally.
