About the Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor, with a high-performance mindset, to join the team at our Bordertown Plant (South Australia), east of Adelaide.
This role will be responsible for providing maintenance, leadership and support across the maintenance team and greater business to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
This is a full-time position with annual salary $80,000 to $120,000 plus superannuation according to organisational EBA-Industrial Agreement.
RESPONSIBILTIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Determines requirements for maintenance.
· Plan, implement and supervise the preventive maintenance program.
· Ensures that the establishment and processing equipment is maintained in a manner which meets the requirements of processing and the quality management system.
· Take action to maintain facilities and equipment as necessary to protect the quality of products and services.
· Carry out construction and equipment reviews.
· Maintain records which highlight corrective action to resolve maintenance problems.
· Liaise with supervisory staff in relation to identified problem areas.
· Supervise the provision of services to the processing areas.
· Facilitate, maintain and ensure maintenance department activities and special projects are planned and executed in a timely and accurate manner.
· Ensure schedules are accurate & comprehensive.
· Audit plant & implement accurate plant numbering system.
· Develop bill of materials for plant items.
· Develop & keep updated tasks, schedules within the CMMS system.
· Implement, Audit & continually update the master maintenance plan, seeking input from all stakeholders to ensure its accuracy.
· Manage maintenance requests, through the correct maintenance request procedure implemented.
· Capacity planning and loading.
· Capture all maintenance requests into CMMS system.
· Plan & acquire all resources needed for tasks in conjunction with Supervisors.
· Forecast available resources for future periods together with Supervisors.
· Forecast all maintenance work to be performed with Supervisors and assist in prioritising all tasks with Highlight deficiencies in capacity & possible negative impacts on maintenance performances.
· Capture all downtime data and all cost data in relation to the tasks being undertaken.
· Breakdown information analysis
· Initiate and assist with root cause analysis of reoccurring breakdown issues
· Participate in RCA and investigations Maintenance performance data analysis
About you:
Trade background
Mechanical / Electrical aptitude is essential
Previous experience with continuous high-speed processing and/or packaging equipment in a food production environment or relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Computer literacy, CMMS knowledge/experience.
Astute negotiating, problem solving and decision-making ability
Superior time management, planning and organisational skills and attention to detail
Collaborative team player, driven to achieve results/efficiency.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime in line with the business requirements
