We are French restaurant (La Belle Vie) in northern inner-city suburbs of Brisbane with a great reputation, on the hunt for a passionate and committed Chef to work in a busy environment.
Applicants should have a relevant diploma level qualification or at least three years’ experience as a chef for this fulltime position.
You will be in the thick of the action assisting the Head Chef and adapting to the needs of the kitchen. We are seeking a candidate for long term position.
The Role:
- Place orders and monitor stock take
- Food preparation and production
- Assist Head-Chef in all aspects of kitchen operation and food prep
- Adhere to HACCP procedures
Looking For:
- At least three years’ experience as a chef
- Passion for cooking with exceptional organisational skills
- Eye for details in all aspect of cuisine
- Ability to follow detailed instruction and direction
- High level of resilience, strong work ethic, autonomous and open to feedback
- Available to work lunch and dinner, 7 days a week
