Epilogue Enterprises is looking for a Full Time cook!
Located in the centre of beautiful Alice Springs (NT), Epilogue Lounge and Page 27 are the favourite breakfast and lunch cafes in town amongst tourists and locals. We trade 7 days a week from 7am to 3pm. In addition Epilogue Lounge & The Rooftop serves dinner from Wednesday Nights to Saturday Nights.
Apart from the beautiful scenery, summer all year long and a great community vibe, you'll be joining an awesome team who likes to work and have fun together.
The offered Cook position is an amazing opportunity for someone creative and dynamic to come up with new menu ideas.
The responsibilities of the role are:
examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
preparing and cooking food
seasoning food during cooking
portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
storing food in temperature controlled facilities
preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
may plan menus and estimate food requirements
may train other kitchen staff and apprentices
Minimum 1 year commitment
This will be a permanent full-time position starting with an annual salary range dependent on experience between $55K - $63K + super
