SCS Packaging are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team in Shepparton.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Running and analysing diagnostic test on a wide range of packaging systems and equipments
- Maintain, test and repair/replace mechanical assemblies on highest quality packaging equipment
- Perform assessments and repairs in the production sector and workshop
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Selecting tools and equipment
- Collecting and analysing data, carrying out complex computations and preparing diagrams
- Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of packaging machines
- Ensuring that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related
- A minimum of three years’ experience
- The ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
