As the chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth. Benefits $74000.00 to $85000.00 Task & Responsibilities Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies Analyse recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labour, and overhead costs. Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff Collaborate with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers. Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures using various equipment's Preparing and cooking food using various equipment's Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations Recruit and hire staff, including cooks and other kitchen workers. Providing effective training to Kitchen team Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services May freeze and preserve foods May provide training to staff Manage small and large functions and catering events Qualification & Experience Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality Management At least 2 years of relevant experience as a senior Chef in similar setting and the venue of similar stature Understanding of hospitality/restaurant industry/Catering industry Knowledge and experience in Team management, time management and efficiency Ability to work in a fast-paced environment About Company Silver Oaks Motel set in Gilgandra, Silver Oaks Motel set in Gilgandra, Silver Oaks Motel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden.
