The Opportunity
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for Logistics Coordinator to join our Fuels team in Port Adelaide. Reporting to the state manager, you will effectively manage and organise the transport of customer's products to depots, terminals and retail outlets. The position exists to ensure that the product is despatched in a timely, safe and cost effective manner and is a key liaison role with customers. As the Logistics Coordinator, you will:
Plan and coordinate activities of an operational work team or shift to achieve results and targets expected on a daily basis
Compile loads to ensure most efficient use of drivers and equipment (maximise revenue per load and minimise unnecessary kms)
Ensure all Drivers are compliant with driving hour regulations/rest breaks at all times
Participate in operational toolbox meetings and health and safety meetings
Liaise with Manager & customer, and advise of problems/changes to schedules/use of subcontractors or anything outside the scope of normal business activity

Experience in Fuels industry highly desired
Strong understanding of Transport operations including DG knowledge
