HR Partners has an opportunity for a HRBP to join our client for an 18month fixed term contract in Brisbane's CBD. Offering $100k-$130k+ super (DOE), a central location and an opportunity to own the role. About the role:
As the HRBP you will be responsible for all people related matters for their assigned cohorts and will support these areas across all HR strategic, advisory and operational services. The HRBP will establish relationships with managers and employees at all levels, providing HR consultation and advice.
Adopt a business partnering approach and provide strategic, advisory and operational support to managers and employees across the employment life cycle.
Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with your cohort people leaders.
Establish a reputation for being a trusted advisor and business partner
Interpretation and adherence to applicable awards, policies, procedures and processes and best practice
Coach and support managers in developing their leadership and management capabilities.
Provide relevant HR data and analytics to executive and management to support and inform decision making
Role model and champion values and expected behaviours as per code of conduct as well as promoting continuous improvement, diversity and inclusion.
Drive the recruitment and selection process including workforce planning, attraction strategies, participating in interview processes where required
Oversee the onboarding process, supporting management in effectively inducting and orienting new employees as well as guiding the probation review process.
Oversee the contracting process, including employee agreements, employment variations, employee leave, remuneration and other related employment terms and conditions
Support and guide managers to undertake consistent and appropriate performance management processes to promote a high performance culture and manage under performance
Undertake the effective case management of employee relations matters
Manage the off boarding process, including exit survey and exit interview data analysis, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and developing retention strategies to reduce workforce turnover
Develop new and review existing policies, procedures, practices and processes, ensuring alignment to legislative requirements and best practice
Skills and experience:
Tertiary level degree in HR or an associated discipline
Proven HR generalist experience within complex, multi-site, fast paced business
High level written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
A hands-on, dynamic and commercially astute approach
Previous experience in a similar role - Senior HR Advisor/HRBP in an Australian environment
