Auspan Group is Australia’s specialist in the design and construction of structural steel sheds and buildings throughout Western Australia. We are currently seeking full-time Metal Fabricators to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Suitable candidates will be required to:
- Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine specifications, materials, and fabrication methods
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal materials
- Assemble and weld structural steel components
- Grind, sand, polish, and finish welded and fabricated parts
- Conduct regular checks to ensure all fabricated components meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
Additionally, candidates must demonstrate:
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in a similar position
- Ideally, a formal qualification in Metal Fabrication/Welding
- Proficiency in welding and metalworking techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurement and assembly
- Familiarity with health and safety standards in fabrication and construction settings
- Competency in using metalworking tools such as grinders, saws, drills, and welding equipment.
Remuneration:
$73,150 plus superannuation
