22grams is a restaurant in Randwick. We provide our customers with quality food served in a timely manner. All our food is made from scratch. We even roast our own coffee and bake our own sourdough and pastries.
We are looking for a Full time Cook to join our team.
The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that the food is of high quality, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including: eggs (poached/scramble), sauces (hollandaise/BBQ), meats (poached chicken/grilled chicken/slow cooked lamb/hot smoked salmon etc, salads.
Ensure that all food is of high quality and meets our standards
Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to management
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared and served in a timely manner
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cook
Excellent culinary skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow recipes and cooking techniques
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
