Full Time Electronic Equipment Trades Worker
Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
Install, maintain, repair, and test electronic devices and systems according to guidelines.
Identify problems in electronic circuits and parts using the right testing tools, and fix them quickly.
Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment.
Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment
Carry out calibration and routine maintenance on electronic equipment to keep them working well.
Replace broken or damaged parts, wires, and other equipment as necessary.
Receiving messages by interpreting code and converting to plain language, and writing and typing messages for transmission
Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems
Offer technical support and advice to customers about how to operate equipment and solve problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
You must have at least a Diploma level qualification in Electronics or a related field.
You need a minimum of one year of experience as an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker or similar, with proven skills in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
You should be able to quickly troubleshoot and fix technical problems.
Accuracy is important in calibrating, installing, and maintaining equipment.
Strong people skills are needed to provide technical support and work with internal teams and clients.
You should be able to assist customers with operational and technical questions in a professional way.
A willingness to work well in a team is essential.
