We are seeking a full-time A-Grade Electrician with extensive experience in electrical and electromechanical systems, who can design, install, and maintain complex electrical, air conditioning, and heat pump systems, ensuring top-quality results for our clients.
Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Interpreting and analyzing technical blueprints, schematics, and control panel diagrams for accurate installation and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems
• Designing and laying out electrical installations for industrial, commercial, and residential projects, ensuring compliance with building and safety codes
• Installing, configuring, and commissioning control panel systems and PLCs, including wiring, testing, and troubleshooting for optimal system performance
• Planning and executing data and communication systems installations, including network cabling, configuring hardware, and conducting system tests
• Installing and maintaining CCTV systems, with familiarity in TCOM systems setup and integration
• Installing and servicing air conditioning and heat pump units, ensuring systems operate at peak efficiency while adhering to all standards and safety protocols
• Conducting electrical fault-finding and diagnostics across various systems, including CCTV, air conditioning, and heat pumps, applying expertise in electromechanical components to resolve issues promptly and accurately
• Overseeing system upgrades, preventive maintenance, and repair work, ensuring continuous and safe operation of all electrical, air conditioning, and heat pump systems
• Ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety by following company installation procedures, best practices, and compliance requirements during all project phases
• Providing guidance and supervision to junior technicians on complex installations, ensuring quality and adherence to regulatory and safety standards
Skills and Qualifications:
• An AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training; or an AQF Certificate IV; or equivalent qualification
• A valid Victorian A-Grade Electrician License
• Restricted Heat Pump – Split Systems – Installation and Decommissioning License (ArcTick - Current)
• Private Security Individual Registration (Victoria)
• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience in electrical, electromechanical, CCTV, data and communication, and air conditioning and heat pump systems
