Rockstar Sealing is seeking a motivated, energetic and enthusiastic team player, with excellent customer service, hands on skills to join our growing business in our Melbourne team. We are after a long term team member who will grow with the business for the many years to come in the future.
We specialise in Polishing and Repairing marble and other stone surfaces. Due to an ever increasing demand for Stone Restoration in the Melbourne area we now require another full time on site technician dedicated to the Melbourne area.
Requirements
Be able to speak fluent English and have a clean tidy appearance to deal with customers on site.
Full Australian residency and able to work a minimum of 38 hours per week.
Full unrestricted manual drivers licence
Clean driving history in the last 5 years
Experience Required
You will need to have 12 month experience in stone restoration. This will include:
Knowledge about stone to identify stone types
Have knowledge of stone formation/creation and processing
Use of a floor polisher and other hand restoration tools
Experience using diamond abrasive pads on floors and benchtops
Experience using specialised polishing compounds to polish benchtops and floors.
Experience using a range of penetrating sealers
Experience mixing glues and colours to complete repairs
Experience using specialised polishing compounds to polish benchtops and floors.
Experience using a range of penetrating sealers
Experience mixing glues and colours to complete repairs
Ability to problem solve on the job
Position Details
You will be responsible for polishing and restoring stone surfaces in prestige homes and buildings, dealing with clients face to face in order to leave a positive lasting impression with every client.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 /year plus some allowances may apply in addition to the salary
