JAAP ENTERPRISES PTY LTD T/A QUATTRO RESTAURANT is looking for passionate and experienced Chef (at least 38 hours per week) to join their team on a full-time basis.
Main duties and responsibilities of the right candidate:
• Create seasonal menu and other special menus;
• Inventorying food, ingredient, and supply stock to prepare and plan vendor orders
• manage the budget;
• Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques meet our high standards;
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment;
• Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation and ensure appealing plate presentation;
• Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures;
• Preparing and cooking food in a timely manner;
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
• Hire, train and manage kitchen staff;
• Verify compliance in preparation of menu items and customer special requests.
Skills and experience:
• At least 2 years of previous work experience
• Management skills
• Good Time management

Salary: between $70,000 - 90,000 per year
