Job Summary:
As a Fitter at Mnhari Management Company Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues and malfunctions, using a variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals.
3. Inspection: Perform inspections and tests to verify the proper functioning of machinery and equipment, and identify areas for improvement or potential issues.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Prepare reports on machinery conditions and repair activities.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or concerns to management immediately.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure the timely completion of projects and tasks.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fitter or in a similar role. Experience in mechanical industry is preferred.
2. Education: Relevant technical certification or trade qualification in mechanical fitting, engineering, or a related field.
3. Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
4. Tools and Equipment: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
5. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
6. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively with colleagues, management, and
external stakeholders.
