Hotel Kununurra is seeking enthusiastic and efficient Food & Beverage Team Leaders
2 Full-time positions available, 38hrs/week
Our venue consists of a 45-room hotel, sports bar and restaurant for hotel guests and the community. Many of the up to 40 staff also live on-site and this is a very busy hotel to live, work, experience and explore the Kimberley region.
Key responsibilities & requirements:
• Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
• Planning and organising special functions
• Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
• Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
• Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
• Take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
• Ability to work well within a team environment or autonomously as required
• Ability to be flexible with shifts, a 7-day rotating roster including weekends, evenings and early mornings is required
