We have a Great Employment Opportunity for a Mechanical Technician
Positions are based in ROCKHAMPTON, QLD, and if required DEPCO will offer FIFO Roster or assistance with relocation.
You will be responsible for safe and effective repairs and maintenance of our specialised fleet of drilling and support equipment including Rig, Compressors, Mud Pumps, Trucks and Trailers.
ROLE:
Service, repair and maintain the fleet.
Provide technical advice and support to the field team as required.
Prioritisation of parts, scheduling and carrying out routine maintenance.
Assist with day to day running of workshop, job orders and activities.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
SKILLS:
Trade qualification or relative experience as a Mechanical Technician
Hydraulic experience is desirable.
Troubleshooting and diagnostic experience with heavy diesel engine.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills
Strong diagnostic abilities
Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
Must have great work ethics
