The role of the Irrigationist team is to ensure that Rombola Family Farms irrigation system are operated efficiently and in accordance with the company schedule. The position requires to maintain and repair irrigation systems including replacing valves, fan belts, switches, and contacts.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
• At least three years related experience and may have, or be undertaking, AQF Certificate I, or compulsory secondary education.
• Ability to install, operate, troubleshoot, and repair manual and/or computerized irrigation systems.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Ability to perform irrigation tasks such as operate timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Knowledge of manual and/or computerized irrigation systems.
In addition, all positions working in the Irrigation team will possess the following:
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Initiative and integrity.
• Team player.
• Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets.
• A current driver’s licence.
