Position Overview The Deputy Associate is part of a small team who assist the Judge in the day-to-day management of Chambers and Court. The role of the Deputy Associate is to assist the Associate and deputise for them when they are on leave. This role also assists with the preparation of Court materials for the judge and involves undertaking legal research and assisting with judgment preparation as required. Key Responsibilities and Duties The Deputy Associate works closely with the Associate. The role of the Deputy Associate includes, but is not limited to:
Undertaking complex legal research, writing and proof reading as required.
Attending court, including providing administrative assistance in the court room.
