Company Your new company is one of Australia's biggest meat producers with sites all over Australia employing 's of people. They are currently looking for a maintenance fitter to work across a fixed night shift roster in their modern site located in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. Role In your role as the maintenance fitter, you will be responsible for attending to breakdowns, fault finding/troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and upgrades. Rebuilding of machines, pumps and other parts as we all as installation and commissioning work. You will work closely with a large trades team of both fitters and electricians in order to maximise machine uptime whilst working in with production schedules. Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have:
Relevant trade qualifications
Experience working with a variety of machinery including, conveyors, packaging machines, bandsaws/slicers etc.
Preventative maintenance experience
Ability to fault find a variety of machinery
