Your new role
Supervise and organise the water and wastewater team
Enforce water quality standards, sewerage effluent regulations, and water management practices
Support budget planning and financial requirements
Detect and address issues, maintaining detailed records of all activities
Be available on-call and respond to emergencies during off-duty hours if necessary
Conduct risk assessments
What you'll need to succeed
Hold relevant qualifications in water and/or wastewater industry operations - highly desirable
Current Manual Driver's Licence with ability to operate 4WD vehicles
Technologically sound - must be able to use emails, Word, and spreadsheets
Experience in a supervisory role

If you are successful in this role, you'll have the chance to work in the regional town of Barcaldine. The salary, starting at $100k plus superannuation, will be based on your skills and experience. The initial contract is for 2 months, with the possibility of extension. Additionally, the position offers a flexible roster, allowing you to choose what days you work, with accommodation provided.
